Do you know that too? At Christmas we feast heartily and after the holidays we feel 3 kilograms heavier.
Good intentions such as a diet or a healthier diet or regular exercise are quickly found. They are often rarely implemented continuously until the end of January. What remains is the disappointment of not having achieved any change.
And the fact that change takes time and energy is nothing new. I had already reported on this in my article
“Time for change”
.
That’s why I want to start the new year with some simple nutrition tips on my blog.
Tasty salads are not only available in summer, but also in winter. Chicory, endive and lamb’s lettuce are particularly delicious winter lettuce varieties. They are also available fresh from local cultivation at this time of year.
These salads can be prepared as pure leaf salads. Or you can supplement it with oranges, apples figs, for examplevegetables, fish or meat. Creations with couscous, lentils, nuts, rice or pasta are also very delicious.
In winter, lamb’s lettuce tastes aromatic and nutty and contains vitamin C, iron, provitamin A and potassium.
Endive is also rich in healthy ingredients such as potassium, calcium, vitamin A and folic acid.
The buds of the chicory are the well-known salad leaves that are often prepared as a salad in raw form. Chicory is also suitable for steaming. It also tastes very good boiled or briefly fried as a vegetable.
On a cold winter’s day, homemade soup also tastes very good and warms you up from the inside.
Vegetable soups are easy to prepare and contain valuable vitamins. Ideal for this purpose:
